The jewels, diamonds, and pearls cast the hue of affection, enticing the mind while overshadowing the lies. For him, they are offerings of love, so tempting that you fall helplessly into dreams of a romance so daunting, you lose yourself within it. It is a tale told across centuries and thousands of years, like the stories of the Silk Road…wandering through kingdoms, crossing empires, and traveling through time.
